I was reading old posts....and I never said what I did on my last day...
So Ryan came over and we went swimming before going to "Meet Dave." We saw the movie and walked outside where it was POURING. Ryan and I waited for Matt in Jamba Juice where he had just gotten back from some important Army thing. My mom picked Snish and I up to go bowling and Matt brought Ryan to the bowling alley. We ate gummy letters which the boys quickly devoured. We bowled, I bowled pretty well for once, scoring higher than Matt and Ryan in one game. :)
After bowling I called my mom and begged to be able to stay with my friends a bit longer so we went to Zippy's and I got a grilled chesse, it was yummy. But then I had to leave...which wasn't fun, but the rest of the day was fantastic...

The Epic Sleepover...
Friday was the last day of school before break. I was sleeping over at Meghan's house. So after school I was brought to the Casa de Meghan where I was greeted by the all-too awesomely cute Lilly. Then we sat down and watched some music videos before I volunteered Meghan and me to get pizza for everyone in the house. We set out of the house in our coats and scarves that corresponded with our hoodies under our black matching coats so we could be twins.
We walked across the street and ordered 3 huge pizzas and while we waited we talked and talked and talked about various amusing things. As we arrived home with the very good smelling pizzas (pizze?) we proceeded to watch Full Metal Alchemist before being asked to go out and retrieve MORE YUMMY PIZZA. So we went off again ("Danger! DANGER!") spinning down the road. We sat and discussed family dynamics while waiting. When it finally came we ran home and ate some more. Then we sat down with everybody and watched MORE Full Metal...was awesome. We sat by the heater with blankets and doggie Lilly. THEN we watched Oron and danced around upstairs until I remembered I had forgotten to call my parents. So I called them, and then went to sleep.
At 0530ish I hear "Run Away" and begin singing in my sleep, I wake up more and realize Meghan is doing the same...her alarm is going off. We both go back to sleep. I sleep only to awake everytime "Belle" plays because that is MY alarm at home. But once we woke up we listened to various music such as Taylor Swift and Billy Elliot. Once we decided it was breakfast time we made pancakes with real syrup and eggs. We ate those, and then went up and did puzzles of Frodo and Aragorn.
Once we drove to my house Meghan came over and we made Garlic Pasta and watched Mary-Kate and Ashley videos and laughed SO hard at them....
I love break.

Venice...
Top 5 Things to Do in Venice:
1. Get on the Vaporetto- It's a boat. It's a bus. It's a VAPORETTO! Woot! It is indeed the best way to get around. The best place to be is sitting on the front in the seats...you get to see
more and it's more fun that way. :)
2. Pretend to Feed the Pigeons in Saint Mark's Square- Pigeons are not all that bright. They will come to you whether you have food or not. And seeing as it is illegal to actually feed them...pretending is great. They do like hand sanitizer though...
3. Go to an event particular to the time you are there- Saint Martin's Day (like Halloween) where the kids go shop to shop looking for gold or treats, The International Art Exhibitions (Every other year countries display commissioned art), and The Funeral of Venice were all going on this week...look on some of the Venetian websites for info...if they aren't in a language you can read...translate them (hellovenezia.it)
4. Watch Murano glass being made- It's insane. They have 1500 degree molten glass on a stick in their bare hands and have their unprotected legs in shorts. Brave men. Some want to be in that trade others were born into it and wanted to be dentists....oddly enough the guy looked like an Italian version of that elf...(some of you have no clue what I'm talking about...rewatch the Christmas classics...Jake, you are exempt.)

5. Go to Burano- The shops are filled with stuff (that part gets dull) but the buildings are so colorful that it makes up for it (take pictures with a color sensitive camera). There is also a leaning bell tower at the same angle of the tower in Pisa
So. My weekend started Wednesday. It was a short week. No school on Monday because of a lack of power and standardized testing on Tuesday, so a lack of student body. But ANYWAYS. My weekend started on Wednesday. We woke up and flew to
Venice.
It was a beautiful day so after we dropped our stuff off at the hotel we traveled on the Vapporetto to St. Mark's square to look at the basilica (full of mosaics and Sheeps?) and the touristy stuff like the Bridge of Sighs (covered in advertisements, I think they may be doing work on it's foundations). Near the square there was an advertisement for a Taiwanese art exhibition so we went inside. There were photos and videos but some of the most interesting ones were of people talking about themselves and translators were used to convert the phrases ("exchange student" became "covered in garlic"). It was a good experience and I liked the fact I could understand a bit of the Chinese.
The next morning I got up, had a wonderful breakfast with hot chocolate and cappuccino, promptly bought a hat to save my freezing ears and headed to Murano. In Murano we met a glass man who has always wanted to be a dentist and watched them blow and shape the colored glass of a future chandelier. We looked around for a LONG time before heading back to Venice Venice for a pizza. After I attempted to do my Calculus we headed back out to the Rialto Bridge and then back for hot chocolate. On the way we saw the Iceland art exhibit. One guy painting another model over and over for 6 months with videos of him harmonizing with himself in different places...Iceland must be AWESOME

Friday morning we headed to Burano, where they make lace, they have colorful houses and some shops had cool masks but that was a day I just walked around and took random pictures... That night Steph and I went back out with my computer to try and get internet at the hot chocolate place. It worked. A family kept staring at us though...it started with the teenage son, then the daughter, then the parents...you would have thought we were monkeys typing or something....well, it was good. We drank 3 hot chocolates between the 2 of us....SUGAR! When we got back I tried to write another letter but ended up taking pictures with Steph instead...
This morning we took the busboat to Saint Mark's square and looked around, got gelato, walked back, stopped at the Funeral for Venice, walked some more, caught a bus, took a plane and VOILA! We are home!
:)

SAT was the low point of my awesome weekend...
We went up to Tuscany this weekend.
Wait, let me back up.
On Friday I got out early. I went to lunch with some of the coolest people in Naples (Meghan, Dilsa, Caitlyn, Melissa, and Jessica) and got sandwiches from the NEX....yum. THEN, Meghan and I went to the school in an attempt to finish our Creative Connections stuff, which didn't work out so well due to the lack of falculty in the building; so we decided to chill at my casa and drink chocolate milk before sending off a package that was LONG overdue (which reminds me, library books, I need to return them) before I had to go to an Irish dance class with Emily.
Irish dance: I was scared at first, I thought I would be the only older person there, but alas (word of the week: ALAS) Ryan M. was there! It was a lot of fun and my feet were made for it with my abnormally large turnout.
After dance came SAT studying because I had failed to really study in the weeks prior and the test was the next morning, so I did that until I was set free to talk to Ryan :)
SAT: Super long and dull, but I got through it. Breaks were made slightly more amusing by Dan and Ben, thank goodness...
Packing: As soon as I got home from the SAT I shoved clothes in a bag, grabbed my iPod and New Moon (A complete coincidence that we were going to Tuscany when I had New Moon. I was just tired of Twilight and I needed an easy book) and hopped in the car for a few hours with Lady and the Tramp 2 and lots of turning roads.
We got to the place we were staying at around 6, just in time to see the amazing Tuscan weather and sunset turn into an incredible storm with all the trimmings. We put some wood in and made a fire as we ate our pasta before watching Psych and heading to bed.
The next day we headed to Siena where we got stuck on the tiny roads and eventually found a parking spot with all the other Americans who read Rick Steves and listen to his parking instructions. Once we got into the city, my family immediately purchased gelato (Mint and Straciatella) and walked around the city, taking Ode to Water Bottle Pictures and looking at everything. I was searching for the perfect mask for homecoming but I couldn't find one...
Eventually we decided to stop for pizza. The sisters shared a regular pizza and Steph kept trying to fold her large napkin into a crane (it ended up looking like a dinosaur with wings). When
Steph finally got it into a bird-looking-thing, a New Zealand man came up and started talking to us in really slow English, (I'm guessing my Dad yelling, "basta" at us, convinced him we were Italian). He told us a story with a napkin, illustrating a flat chicken being brought to the vet, (a VET, enunciated with crossed fingers) and then the vet comes back with a cooked chicken. The story itself wasn't that funny but you just knew he was one of those guys who has told the story too many times back home and was glad to share it with a new audience. The women he was with thought that his telling of the story to the children of Italy was pictury worthy, so now they have pictures of an American family trying not to laugh at people assuming they don't speak English. But eventually he asked where we were from and my very smart sister goes, "We live in Naples," reinforcing his idea of us being Italian... It made us laugh...
Before we got back in the car to head to Montalcino Steph and I decided to use the restroom only to be stopped by a teenage waiter who thought it would be amusing to try to tell us the bathroom was closed. I knew he was joking but didn't know how much English I could joke back with....so I ended up sounding really lame. Steph made fun of me.
In Montalcino we looked inside a fort and got some good hot chocolate and wine. We drove home and drank some wine and played cards and ate Sun Chips... It was a lot more fun than it sounds here.

This morning we ran around the house where we were staying before heading to Montepulciano, where New Moon was filmed (Boys: I know you do not care but I thought it was kind of cool). We saw the piazza and the clock tower and all that stuff. We got out right before it started storming. Steph and I got stuck in the gas station while it poured so hard we didn't want to leave. The storm followed us all the
way back to Naples while we watched Little Mermaid 1 and 2!
I had a good weekend, this week should be fun with Homecoming and stuff.... Let's hope the homework load stays low...I still have college apps...

It was a good weekend...
So Friday we had rehearsal with the set, which was long but fun to see the show finally coming together. During lunch I found the lighting board hiding in a classroom and triumphantly returned with it to the cafeteria. I had gotten the "Most" award for two days and so had gotten to see 2 parts of my costume before anyone else which was....pretty cool.
But ANYWAY, that night I got the casting call for Spook and Walk on Broadway. Mikaela and I will be hosting Spook, choreographing the opening, and performing the finale. For Broadway we are choreographing "Hard Knock Life" and "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" as well as performing in the Opening Number (Seasons of Love) and Closing Number (One). In addition, I am performing the part of Elphaba in "What is this Feeling" and singing in "Cell Block Tango" and "I Can Cook". I have TONS to do, but I am exited.
The next day was "Princess and the Pea" showday! We got to the school, got our costumes, ran through the show, put makeup on while Kyle and I alternately lead the game of "Find the Leader" then it was showtime. We did the show, took pictures, redid makeup, played Egyptians Something or Other, played BS, and then got back in our costumes (that we took off because we were SO HOT) and did the show again. Then we took pictures and turned our stuff in. Jeremiah took my information down so I could be nominated for the Summer Camp Missoula Runs in Montana, so who knows, maybe I will do that next summer. Then I got home and packed really fast to go to Meghan's house.
At Meghan's house we ate pizza bianca on the roof while the sun went down before setting up mosquito nets and roasting marshmallows and then sleeping. We talked in between :)
We fell asleep on the roof and woke up when the sun got too bright. After we decided to get up we watched "Recess" and then proceeded to make waffles with syrup, bananas, and whipped cream (yum). Later we made some eggs. Everything was awesome, then we talk-talk-talked some more and I went home.
At home we got ready for the Quad Party, when it started though the sky opened up and the wind started blowing and the hail came down. It was pretty bad. But it all went away eventually and we had our party. We traveled over to the ruins to aid a scavenger hunt, retrieving Mikaela on the way. Then I ended up digging a note out of a flooded tomb before heading over to the pool.
When we got to the pool Mikaela and I went in, Steph and Brittany were ahead, and dove off the diving board with Dilsa, Caitlyn, and Kyle and then played volleyball and swam. 'Twas awesome. Then we had cake, took pictures and walked home to a winding down quad party (with kids running in the non-potable sprinklers) with only a few complications. It was a good weekend.

Horse dander and saltwater pools...
Today I woke up, had myself some monkey bread and got ready to head over to my aunt and uncle's house where we would meet my uncles, my cousin, and the wellings and have food and play with the animals and just hang out.
We got there and while food was grilling, Stephanie, Emily and I ran to watch the horses. A bit later we got the horses out (Merlin, Poco, and Princess) and groomed them and Poco gave a ride to Emily and Princess gave many pony rides with my cousin leading her about. Then we ate, drank, talked, played with the dog (very adorable Nikki, a pitbull/shepherd) and the cats, and brushed them all. Emily insisted on giving Nikki sticks. Nikki kept chasing the horses...and then Aunt Joan made Nikki apologize, which was fun to watch...How can dogs look so apologetic and so mischievous at the same time? After people started to leave, I went and danced with Nemo the bird...that was fun too, crazy bird.
Once we got home we went to the pool again and then cooked out marshmallows and watched Allison and Noah act crazy playing cards...all in all another good day. Days are always good when they end up covered with horse dander and saltwater :)

Fireflies, Fields, and ATVs...
So in the past few days I have been to target...been to a real mall, seen Harry potter, went to macaroni grill, hung out with some friends....
Went to Franklin and Marshall, watched Disney Channel, went to the pool....
Went to Hershey Chocolate Tour, the Harley Davidson Factory, the mall, and then to some more friends' house...
When we were at the Hershey place yesterday there was a singing cupcake making girl (I want that job by the way) who gave us a HUGE cupcake so I was on a sugar rush for about 3 hours...twas awesome...then we drove to the Harley place and walked through a hot room where motorcycle parts...then steph and emily and I sang really loud in the car...video may or may not be posted... :)
WE went to zee mall...more stuff...theres lots of just stuff back here in the states...all over actually...now im just realizing it....
Today we got up had an awesome breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and such and then got ready to go to Suessical.
Suessical was fantastic, it was a HUGE cast which made the stage a bit too crowded at some points but this, probably under age 25, cast could dance and harmonize like crazy. There were all these little kids dancing and EVERYONE was harmonizing. It was awesome. The Welling's knew one of the Wickersham brothers so we talked with him a while after the show. He had an hour break before the next show's call time...Man, I loved when we did 2 shows in a day... Then we got ice cream. Really good ice cream. :)
When we got back the moms and I went to all these stores to get stuff for dinner. We went to the farm, the little stores and Food Lion...not that exiting but still kinda fun. After that I headed across the street to the pool to hang out a bit before dinner.
We had steak, corn, potatoes, and fruit with some ice tea...very good dinner for Sarah. Yum. Before and after dinner we rode on the neighbor's ATV back in the field behind the house. When we went after dinner all the fireflies were out and the sun was setting so it was pretty amazing.
After the ATV rides we went across the street again to the fire pit and made smores and melted bottles and set marshmallows on fire... :D

Quick Timeline
Because I am a loser and don't post often here is a timeline of the past 7 months:
January- Rome, THIMUN, Aida auditions
February- AIDA, JSHS, Southern Italy
March- AIDA, ISLI
April- AIDA Shows, National JSHS, Paris
May-London
June- Prom, Germany
July-Germany, the States
Ok, now we are in the states on the East coast
DAY ONE:
So I woke up at 4 in the morning....uber fun start right there.
I got up grabbed my bags and we headed to the airport. On the way downstairs I hear the sounds of Halo (Note that this is like 0445), of course I think of this as perfectly logical and ask Kyle if he happens to have any gum. A few seconds later it hits me that its 5 in the morning. And Caitlyn, Kyle and Alex are still sitting on the couch as they were 7 hours before. They have been up all night. I laughed at them. Now I feel their pain.
We got on the plane, smooth flight, I listen to Footloose and the Wedding Singer and fall asleep. Twas great fun.
Then comes the 3 hour layover...not bad except for my computer bag being WAY heavier than I thought it would be. We looked in all the little shops full of expensive stuff before getting on the plane. Terry from Footloose was on all our flights, small world we live in. :)
Plane was cool, little screens on the seat with DISNEY CHANNEL and some movies (He's not that into you). So Steph and I watched close to 3 hours of Disney shows we had never seen before...Disney is different these days...more shows created for the stars than stars made from the shows... Then we watched Aida, well, listened to it while I organized 3 years worth of photos on my computer.
Then we landed after some sleep and went to the hotel where I promptly made some coffee.
And here I be. Waiting for plans and exited to possibly see Harry Potter tomorrow :)

Pictures will come later, along with a real post...
Life has been insane lately hopping from Rome to auditions to the Netherlands and to rehearsal while trying to finish my homework.
But as I was procrastinating today I came upon this. Which is awesome. Because it is about Footloose and it's in Italian. A show I was in, was written about in an Italin newspaper. :)
