So it has been fun

Last Mon: HvZ (I got turned when I stopped looking at the zombie I was guarding)
Last Tuesday: Paper...paper..procrastination...paper
Last Wednesday: Les Mis! The Movie was great but the sound system was wack so they gave us ticket vouchers! Then paper, paper, paper.
Last Thursday: Japanese festival (with writing, green tea, coconut cookies, drummers (from Epcot), and ice sculptors (with degrees in Bio and Chem)) then HARRY POTTER! We watched a Very Potter Musical, ate candy and popcorn, played a monopoly card game, and watched the movie until late :)
Last Friday: If you Give a Mouse a Cookie (cute) and then "The Other Guys" with Ally and Sarah and the gang
Last Saturday: Days of Dance, reading out on Landis, Harry Potter again with Ally, then the game and Monopoly with Sarah and Jarred and Chris and Chris and Amanda (I had the purple properties)
Last Sunday: Hung out at my aunts house and did laundry and such

Monday: Homework
Tuesday: Cleaning and homework
Wednesday: Hung out and watched tv and read magazines after Aunt Yvonne picked me up. Then we went to Target, and publix and when Max heard I hadn't seen "Dirty Dancing" he went to Target to get it so we could watch it the next day. Then we watched Celtic Women. And I watched Everybody Loves Raymond
Thursday: I woke up super early to watch the parade, while eating blueberry waffles (yum!). Then the grandparents came, I made mashed potatoes and showered. We ate yummy food. I showed everyone the capabilities of smart phones. We watched Dirty Dancing.
Friday: Wakulla Springs where we saw Manatees! :D Then to Panda Express (hilarity ensued) and Coldstone. Then a quick trip to show off my dorm (and grab some papers) and then to the Cemetery to look for the grave of the "local witch" Kristin Lull Graham (really Elizabeth Budd Graham) and then to the shoe station where I got replacement tennis shoes because mine were literally falling apart.
Saturday: St. Marks (Max saw dolphins there at dawn) but we went and saw a raccoon in a tree, bald eagles, a not gator, a real gator, butterflies and snakes, and little tiny crabs :) Then I watched the Noles CRUSH the Gators :) And made baked potatoes
Today I slept in, ate a sandwich, took a shower, cleaned, and really didn't so a whole lot. Jason brought back peanut butter ice cream which was very nice of him because it was really good ice cream and it was nice in general.

Um, I kinda feel unaccomplished. I wish I was DOING more in college, I mean, I know I am, but it doesn't seem like a whole lot. I don't know. I want what other people have I guess, which is bad. I know. Want what you have and all that. But eh. I feel that way sometimes. But yesterday walking outside I just felt good. It felt good to be on the beach.

I've been listening to "The Christmas Gift of Aloha" and it makes me miss Hawaii. I like Christmas Talk Story and the beach and board shorts and aloha print. Yep. I'm thinking of maybe trying to do grad school (if I do that) at UH...I don't know. We'll see I guess. I have to get through this first.

Hopefully I do well on exams. I want to ace my classes and I can't help but compare myself to others which is what makes me want it so bad. I'm good at school. That's what I can do. If I'm not the best at that...what can I be the best at. But if I was doing it for me, it wouldn't matter as much. I'm trying to not let it matter as much, be happy with who I am and maybe not being the best at things. It's kinda hard.

I don't mind learning new things, aikido, dance, piano, guitar. I'm not GOOD but I would like to be. Eh. I REALLY want to be great at something.
Let me know if you have any ideas.

Procrastination...

Q: What aren't you doing this time?

S: A lab report and a paper on Harry Potter.... >.<

Q: Well, since you're here how was your week?

S: It was pretty good actually. I saw Legally Blonde with Sarah on Monday. We went and drove down (I had started walking and she picked me up at a stop light I ran down to) and watched the show, eating Swedish fish during intermission. The cast was really good, the sets were not but they were resourceful, I really enjoyed watching the show. Tuesday was alright, no lab, a meteorology test, and my dance class was canceled which was good because I didn't feel well at all. Wednesday I took a chem test, went to lunch and then that night I saw Scott Pilgrim in the phantom theater. Afterwards I went with Sarah and the gang to McDonalds for ice cream and then back to the dorm for lemonade. Thursday was supposed to be homework day but I just relaxed, cleaned, and generally chilled. Friday was the day for mall returns, Borders, Wallmart, Publix and finally the search for the post office. Then I got Chilis with Aunt Yvonne and Max and watched Legally Blonde. I slept in my fuzzy snoopy pants and the next morning we did errands like sending stuff to the post office (the flat-rate fiasco mix-up will soon be forgotten) and Publix and My Favorite things. Then I folded clothes and watched Harry Potter 2, came back to the dorms, watched the 3rd Harry Potter with a group of HP kids and then went to the game with Ally and Jason. That game was epic. It was fun watching Shawn run around after we won, he was so happy he didn't know what to do with himself, jumping into the stands. That brings us to today, the day of procrastination.

Q: What did you do today?

S: I went to the animal shelter, which was so much fun because of all the little puppies. Joanna always wants to take them home.

Q: You ate dinner?

S: Yeah, at Fresh Foods where I formally met Joanna's boyfriend. Now I'm going to work.

Q: Good.

S: Yep.

A Typical Friday...

So I woke up, read some Harry Potter. Couldn't talk. Went to class and took charge of our entire group and organized it (great thing to do when you can't talk but someone needed to). But all that Gisaro stuff got done and I went to Chem.

After Chem, Rachael and Matt and I went to Figg where they had roast beef and honey-fried chicken...awesome food. So yummy. Then I came home and hung out until the homecoming parade. I went to the parade with Ally and Jason. The parade was actually a lot of fun, lots of people and tissue paper. The best parts were the golden lab puppy and the Saint Bernard :)

Then Ally and I trekked to the mall to go to Hallmark and the such to get some stuff for my aunts birthday tomorrow :) Then came mac and cheese and the play, Bus Stop (which was fantastic!) :)

I made cookies and read some Harry Potter. Good day :)

So here's the thing...

I keep having the same conversation with my mom. How are classes? I like my classes. Are you enjoying school? It's not that bad. What do you mean? That it's not that enjoyable. Why aren't you happy?

Then I proceed to list the things...always working or feeling like I should be, no one I can really talk to...whatever.

The response: change your attitude.

Really? Don't you think that has crossed my mind? Sometimes it isn't that easy if there isn't something you enjoy doing. Plus I feel like I'm eating too much when I feel like crap. Haven't gained any weight and I've actually gained muscle, but I still feel blah.

....whatever.

I just saw a lizard jump up and eat a spider. :)
It was gross. But really awesome.

Eh...

I'm not going to let you mess around with my emotions anymore, whether you mean to or not.

Rabbit, Rabbit...

Happy November!
The great pumpkin has come and gone. Ludacris was watched. It was a good weekend with Voting and Hocus Pocus and Everybody Loves Raymond :)

I went and saw Rocky Horror. That was CRAZY. Everyone was dressed up in their...finest :) I was marked with an underlined V (because I volunteered myself) and kissed on both cheeks by the performers who acted the movie out while we were watching it. Games were played before the movie by people who had not seen the movie yet (not me though, I just sat and watched). We were provided with props to watch the movie with (ricepaper, gloves, playing cards, clappers, party hats, and the like) and we all shouted responses and did the timewarp. It was a ton of fun.

Now it's November...bring it on I guess?

On another note, HvZ seems to be spreading. Naples is playing. It's not just college anymore...odd.
