It was a good weekend...

So Friday we had rehearsal with the set, which was long but fun to see the show finally coming together. During lunch I found the lighting board hiding in a classroom and triumphantly returned with it to the cafeteria. I had gotten the "Most" award for two days and so had gotten to see 2 parts of my costume before anyone else which was....pretty cool.

But ANYWAY, that night I got the casting call for Spook and Walk on Broadway. Mikaela and I will be hosting Spook, choreographing the opening, and performing the finale. For Broadway we are choreographing "Hard Knock Life" and "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" as well as performing in the Opening Number (Seasons of Love) and Closing Number (One). In addition, I am performing the part of Elphaba in "What is this Feeling" and singing in "Cell Block Tango" and "I Can Cook". I have TONS to do, but I am exited.

The next day was "Princess and the Pea" showday! We got to the school, got our costumes, ran through the show, put makeup on while Kyle and I alternately lead the game of "Find the Leader" then it was showtime. We did the show, took pictures, redid makeup, played Egyptians Something or Other, played BS, and then got back in our costumes (that we took off because we were SO HOT) and did the show again. Then we took pictures and turned our stuff in. Jeremiah took my information down so I could be nominated for the Summer Camp Missoula Runs in Montana, so who knows, maybe I will do that next summer. Then I got home and packed really fast to go to Meghan's house.

At Meghan's house we ate pizza bianca on the roof while the sun went down before setting up mosquito nets and roasting marshmallows and then sleeping. We talked in between :)
We fell asleep on the roof and woke up when the sun got too bright. After we decided to get up we watched "Recess" and then proceeded to make waffles with syrup, bananas, and whipped cream (yum). Later we made some eggs. Everything was awesome, then we talk-talk-talked some more and I went home.

At home we got ready for the Quad Party, when it started though the sky opened up and the wind started blowing and the hail came down. It was pretty bad. But it all went away eventually and we had our party. We traveled over to the ruins to aid a scavenger hunt, retrieving Mikaela on the way. Then I ended up digging a note out of a flooded tomb before heading over to the pool.

When we got to the pool Mikaela and I went in, Steph and Brittany were ahead, and dove off the diving board with Dilsa, Caitlyn, and Kyle and then played volleyball and swam. 'Twas awesome. Then we had cake, took pictures and walked home to a winding down quad party (with kids running in the non-potable sprinklers) with only a few complications. It was a good weekend.
