That week (Jan 8) in hindsight...

This week was a blur. Lack of sleep contributed greatly.

Monday-School. Then Rehearsal for "Murdered to Death." That rehearsal did not go well.

Tuesday- School. Scholarships. I ditched rehearsal to do homework. I got some stuff done, including an awful rough draft for the Coke scholarship.

Wednesday- School with the stress of undone homework. Kelly and I went to my house to talk and work on homework before the tech rehearsal at 6. Tech rehearsal went really well. Surprisingly. :)

Thursday- Opening night went fantastically. Seamus remembered his lines. It was amazing.

Friday- School was tiring, I had forgotten that opening night was a Thursday. But Friday went well. OH! and Jungle Book Auditions! Over 60 kids came out to audition. It was INSANE!

Sat- More auditions, we found our Mowgli and Baloo. Meghan didn't perform in M2D (she was the only female left with an understudy who wanted to perform) :( But it went well, I got my shoes taken and put outside. I was not happy about that. Then we came home and cast kids and watched Finding Nemo until 2 am.

Sunday- Made calls to families. Not fun. Not fun at all. No no no no no. Even the ones offering roles were tedious. But the Final M2D show was SO MUCH FUN! During the whole show characters drink the brandy. We laced it with salt. And grapefruit juice. It tasted awful. The looks on their faces were priceless. :) People got slapped, people got soaked, people had jingle bells playing on the doorbell (my idea), and at intermission the brandy was cleaned, tested, and walked away from. Bad decision. We put more salt in it. :) This concoction was sprayed all over the stage during the rest of the show. I can't wait to watch the film :)
